Isobelle Pearl is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator and tattoos apprentice from Bundjalung Country, currently based in Meanjin. Her work captures the essence of rural enthusiasm for delinquent activities, reflecting a unique blend of Aussie nostalgia and defiance with the natural curves of our unique landscapes. Utilising interdisciplinary methods, including traditional tattoo influence, Isobelle selects the medium that best suits each subject, creating pieces that are both evocative and dreamlike in their representations of the human experience.

This collaboration in honour of fringe group including more diverse artists into their collective to highlight the entanglement between all mediums showcasing the artists ability to represent themselves both individually and as a cohesive collective. Thistle sanctuary’s involvement with fringe group will highlight a range of merch and apparel to be paired with the running themes of fringe groups members.
